The Village of Oxford offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
All bills are due and payable upon receipt. Utility bills become delinquent on the 15th day of the month, but will be accepted through 8:00 AM the following morning without a penalty assessment. (the drop box is located out front of the office for your convenience) In the event the 15th falls on a weekend or a holiday, utility bills will be accepted on the following business day up until 10:00 AM without a penalty assessment. A 10% penalty will be assessed for all delayed payments.
Disconnect notices for residential users will be mailed on the 16th of the month, with the exception that the 16th falls on a weekend or a holiday, they will be mailed out the following business day. As allowed by law, subscribers will be given 7 business days from the date notice is sent or mailed (Section 70-1605) to make payment. If payment is not received by the date and time stated in the disconnect notice, service will be discontinued.
We now offer online utility bill payment. Please click on the "pay your bill now" button to be redirected to Nebarska Pay Port. From there you will need your utiltity bill as you wil lbe prompted to enter your customer name, account number and service address. At this time online bill viewing is not available, but we hope to add that in the future!
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the Auto Draft Application located below and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check.
Payment Drop-off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy. There is also a drop box located outside the front door for your convienience.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay
Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
