Vendor Application and Permit
All non resident salespersons must check in and register for a permit at the Village Office. Permit fees are $10.00 per day or $25.00 from October 1 thru September 30. Any non resident sales person who is not able to show proff of permit may be subject to penalties.
Article 2 – Non-Resident Sales
SECTION 5-201: REGULATION
To prevent the sale of fraudulent, dangerous and unhealthful goods and services, and to protect the public by maintaining records of the products sold and the persons and companies responsible for such sales, all peddlers and solicitors shall register with the village clerk before doing business within the village. The registration forms supplied by the clerk shall contain all the necessary information required for the protection of the residents of the village. All peddlers and solicitors shall be subject to any fees, occupation taxes and other rules and regulations which the Village Board deems appropriate for the purposes stated herein. (Neb. Rev. SECTION 5-202: HOURS OF SOLICITATION; PERMIT ON PERSON
- It shall be unlawful for any solicitor, salesperson or peddler to solicit any individual between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. unless he or she has a previous appointment with the resident, or residents, of the premises solicited.
- It shall be unlawful at any hour for a solicitor, salesperson or peddler to solicit without a proper permit on his or her person at all times.

SECTION 5-203: exceptions
The provisions of Section 5-201 shall not extend to any person or persons selling produce raised within the county or to representatives of a non-profit or charity organization soliciting on behalf of that organization.
